OFFICIAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS PRAIRIE HIGHLANDS CORPORATE PARK VILLAGE OF PLEASANT PRAIRIE KENOSHA COUNTY, WISCONSIN OWNER: The Village of Pleasant Prairie hereby gives notice that sealed Bids will be received for the construction of the Prairie Highlands Corporate Park. The Project consists of one prime Contract with multiple sections and generally consists of the following: 5,000 Linear feet 49-foot wide HMA (1.75-inch) / PCC (8-inch) composite pavement roadway with curb and gutter and underdrains 2,500 Linear feet 80-foot wide HMA (1.75-inch) / PCC (8-inch) composite pavement boulevard roadway with curb and gutter and underdrains 7,500 Linear feet 10-foot wide multi-use pedestrian path (3-inch HMA; 8-inch aggregate base) 1- 20-foot wide span x 88-foot long Conspan bridge with railings 7,700 Linear feet 16-inch water main 2,500 Linear feet 15-inch sanitary sewer 3,800 Linear feet 10-inch sanitary sewer 400 Linear feet 8-inch sanitary sewer 144 Linear feet 6-inch sanitary sewer 2,400 Linear feet 12-inch to 24-inch storm sewer 5,700 Linear feet 30-inch to 48-inch storm sewer 1,500 Linear feet 54-inch to 72-inch storm sewer Mass grade approximately 300 acres including six regional retention ponds Restoration and site stabilization Roadway signage and markings All Contractors shall comply with the "Contractor Qualification Ordinance of the Village of Pleasant Prairie" requiring pre-qualification of Contractors prior to performing work on this Contract. All Contractor pre-qualifications must be complete and submitted 5 days prior to bid opening date/time. Approved pre-qualifications will be posted prior to bid opening. All Subcontractors utilized for this Contract must be identified in the bid documents under "LIST OF SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS" and all Sub-contractors must be pre-qualified prior to award of this Contract. Applications for Qualification forms may be obtained from the Village of Pleasant Prairie Clerk at 9915-39th Avenue, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin 53158 or obtained from the following website: http://www.pleasantprairieonline.com/formsandlicensing/prequalification/index.asp TIME AND PLACE OF BID OPENING: Sealed Bids will be received until 10:00 A.M., Local Time, on Tuesday, June 5th, 2018, in the office of the Village Engineer, 9915 39th, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, 53158. After the official Bid closing time, the Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. BIDDING DOCUMENTS: The documents are on file for inspection at the Village Hall, 9915 39th Avenue, Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, 53158. For a non-refundable fee of $10.00 you may obtain bid documents on QuestCDN at: www.questcdn.com. You may access the document by inputting Quest project #5767624. LEGAL PROVISIONS: The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 62.15, 66.0901, and 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% nor more than 10% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Acceptable Bid Security shall be Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Money Order. CONTRACT SECURITY: The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Pond each in the amount equal to the Contract Price. BID REJECTION / ACCEPTANCE: Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding or accept the Bid or Bids, which best serve the interest of Owner.
