ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSSealed proposals will be received until 10:00 a.m., and to be opened at 10:05 a.m. on May 8, 2024 at the Menomonee Falls Village Hall, W156 N8480 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin 53051, Conference Room 3338, (2nd Floor), for furnishing all material and completing all the work necessary and required for:VILLAGE OF MENOMONEE FALLS CENTENNIAL PLAZA RENOVATION PROJECT NO. 20401 Approximate Quantities: Erosion Control 1 LS Demolition 1 LS Earthwork 1 LS Dense Graded Base Course 276 TN Concrete Pavement - 5-Inch 2,506 SF Concrete Pavement - 8-Inch Reinforced 1,947 SF Concrete Pavement - Thickened Edge 168 SF Concrete Curb 44 LF Concrete Stairs 1 LS Asphalt Pavement - Parking Lot 6,508 SF Pavement Markings 1 LS Installation of Benches 3 EA Electrical Service 1 LS In-ground Recessed Lights 1 LS Light Poles with Bases 1 LS Linear Light Fixtures 1 LS String Lights 1 LS Hand Railing 49 LF Flagpole 1 EA Decorative Metal Panels 1 LS Installation of Precast Seat Wall 1 LS Dry Stack Stone Wall 1 LS Installation of Shade Structure 2 EA Tree - Deciduous 1 EA Shrubs and Perennials 1 LS Removable Bollard 2 EA All in accordance with the Contract Documents including plans and specifications on file in the office of the Engineering and Development Department, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Bidder's Proof of Responsibility for 2024 is required on all bids. Proof of Responsibility forms are available from the ENGINEERING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT located on the 1st floor of the Menomonee Falls Village Hall, W156 N8480 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin 53051 or the Village of Menomonee Falls website at www.menomoneefalls.org and must be filed with the Director of Engineering and Development at least five (5) calendar days before the bid opening date. Plans and Specifications will be available at any time after 8:00 a.m. on April 17, 2024. Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, are available for download at WWW.QuestCDN.com, Quest eBidDoc No. 9060213, for a non-refundable fee of $22.00. Copies of the Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications, may also be obtained at the ENGINEERING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT OFFICE, located on the 1st floor of the Menomonee Falls Village Hall, W156 N8480 Pilgrim Road, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin 53051. Each set available at Village Hall can be obtained for a non-refundable fee of $50.00 plus sales tax. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond made payable to the Village of Menomonee Falls in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid price as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proposed contract within ten (10) days after the award of the contract. In case the successful bidder fails to execute such contract and provide the required bonds and insurance certificate within the time specified the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of bid closing. Bids and proposals must be sealed and addressed to the Village of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. There shall appear on the envelope of each bid and proposal, the name and address of the bidder and the purpose for which the proposal is intended. No proposal will be considered which is not made out on the regular forms furnished by the Village. The Village of Menomonee Falls reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any defects or informalities in proposals received and to accept the proposal most advantageous to the Village. The letting of the contract shall be subject to the provisions of Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin State Statutes.
