COMPLAINT Plaintiff's Demand: The plaintiff states the following claim against the defendant(s): 1. Plaintiff demands judgment for Claim for Money $ 2,770.54 Plus interest, costs, attorney's fees, if any, and such other relief as the court deems proper. 2. Brief statement of dates and facts: Community Financial Service Center Corp. (CFSC) is in receipt of negotiable instruments from Helens Supportive Services L.L.C. that were presented by the Payees, Reginald Jackson, Sandtersha Edgetson, Dorice Ownes, among others, in the total amount of $2,370.04. These negotiable instrument were dishonored and marked insufficient funds or "NSF" due to stop payments. Pursuant to Wisconsin Statute §403.305, CFSC is a holder in due course because it took the instruments for value, in good faith, and without notice of any defense or claims against them. The stop payments that were placed are not valid against a holder in due course. CFSC is entitled to payment of the face value of the checks, plus $400.00 in NSF fees and court costs.
