NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR
FORD SITE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA AND
THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN
FOR THE FORD SITE REDEVELOPMENT
TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota (the “City”) will meet on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, for the purpose of conducting a public hearing on the proposal of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota (the “HRA”) to (i) amend the Redevelopment Plan (the “Redevelopment Plan”) for the Ford Site Redevelopment Project Area (the “Project Area”) in connection with the enlargement of the Project Area, and (ii) amend the Tax Increment Financing Plan for the Ford Site Redevelopment Tax Increment Financing District (the “TIF District”) within the Project Area.
A map is set forth below indicating the property included in the TIF District and the boundaries of the Project Area, as proposed to be enlarged, where the increments may be collected and expended pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.174 through 469.1794.
Drafts of the proposed amendment to the Redevelopment Plan and the proposed amendment to the TIF Plan, along with all attachments and exhibits thereto, will be on file and available in electronic form through an emailed request to Jenny Wolfe at the Department of Planning and Economic Development at email@example.com on or before the date of the hearing, during normal business hours.
The Mayor has determined, due to the emergency declared under Minn. Stat. Chapter 12 by the Governor of Minnesota and the Mayor regarding the COVID-19 health pandemic, that it is not practical nor prudent for the City Council to meet in-person or pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 13D.02. In light of the COVID-19 health pandemic, it is not feasible for all members of City Council to be present at the regular location, and some or all of the members of the City Council will attend this meeting by telephone or other electronic means.

Any comments and materials submitted by 12:00 noon on October 13, 2020 will be provided to the City Council for their consideration.
