ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE FOR BIDS Milwaukee County Froemming Park Water & Sewer Upgrade Froemming Park 8801 S. 51st Street Franklin, WI 53132 Project Number: V047-20136 Contract 1: Abandon existing water supply well and install new water service from municipality and abandon existing holding tank and install gravity sanitary sewer system. Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools and other services necessary for abandoning the existing water supply well and associated equipment, installing new water service from municipality, abandoning existing holding tank and installing gravity sanitary sewer system and restoration of construction disturbed property as specified. Project Completion/ Work of the project shall be Substantial Completion 120 Calendar Days after receipt of notice to proceed. Project funded: local. Pre-Bid Meeting: One Pre-bid meeting will take place on April 12, 2021 at 10:00AM. Meeting will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE WRITTEN PROJECT BID SUBMITTAL OF COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOL WHEN NOTIFIED AS APPARENT LOW BIDDER. SEE REFERENCE DOCUMENTS LISTED IN INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Bids are to be completed online in Bid Express internet Bidding System at https://www.bidexpress.com/businesses/24937/home no later than 2 P.M., April 21, 2021. Milwaukee County project bid summary results will be posted on the Bid Express site and Milwaukee County web site at www.county.milwaukee.gov. Bid summary results may be available a few hours following the Bid Due Date time. Contractors shall employ a minimum of 50% of the Contract labor force with employees that reside in Milwaukee County. Documentation must be performed by LCPtracker Labor Compliance software. (see Bid Documents for RESIDENCY PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS). Bidding document distribution will be online in Bid Express internet Bidding System at https://www.bidexpress.com/businesses/24937/home All bidders must meet the minimum software requirements of the bidding website and be able to view, enter, scan and upload PDF files to submit a bid. TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS PROJECT ALL REQUIRED TBE-14 / DBE-14 FORMS SHALL BE COMPLETED AND SIGNED BY PRIME AND SUBMITTED AS INDICATED IN INVITATION TO BID. Bidder's attention is called to the "Notice of Requirements for Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity" (Executive Order 11246), contained in the Bid Documents, which set forth, in part, goals and timetables for the employment of women and minorities in the project area. PRIME CONTRACTORS SHALL BE QUALIFIED PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A BID IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 43 OF MILWAUKEE COUNTY ORDINANCE. Bidders shall submit the completed Subcontractor-Supplier Information Entry with the Bid. Failure to submit this information with Bid may result in rejection of the Bid as non-responsive. A 10 percent bid bond or certified check is required with bid. The low responsive, responsible bidder will be recommended for contract award. Owner reserves right to reject bid, to waive informalities in bid or to accept bid which will be in best interest of Owner.
