Contract Description: Work of the Project includes removing existing concrete pavement, re-grading, and providing new concrete pavement, concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, storm sewer, and chain link fence replacement as indicated in the project Bid documents.

Contractors shall employ a minimum of 50% of the Contract labor force with employees that reside in Milwaukee County. Documentation must be performed by LCPtracker Labor Compliance software. (see Bid Documents for RESIDENCY PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS).

Targeted Business Enterprise (TBE) participation goal for this project is 25 percent.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS PROJECT ALL REQUIRED TBE-14 / DBE-14 FORMS SHALL BE COMPLETED AND SIGNED BY PRIME AND SUBMITTED AS INDICATED IN INVITATION TO BID.
Bidder's attention is called to the "Notice of Requirements for Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity" (Executive Order 11246), contained in the Bid Documents, which set forth, in part, goals and timetables for the employment of women and minorities in the project area.
PRIME CONTRACTORS SHALL BE QUALIFIED PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A BID IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 43 OF MILWAUKEE COUNTY ORDINANCE.
Bidders shall submit the completed Subcontractor-Supplier Information Entry with the Bid. Failure to submit this information with Bid may result in rejection of the Bid as non-responsive.
A 10 percent bid bond or certified check is required with bid.
The low responsive, responsible bidder will be recommended for contract award. Owner reserves right to reject bid, to waive informalities in bid or to accept bid which will be in best interest of Owner.
Base Bid shall remain open to acceptance for a period of 60 days after bid due date.
